This laptop has been sent to service centre to fix the issue of the getting stuck in msi logo at time but the service centre cannot detect the problem and ask me to do recovery back up instead to install again the os. ![]() I need to back up the win 10 os as it is not pre-installed as my laptop is preinstalled with window 8.1 before it is upgraded to window 10 two years ago. rally have no idea why it cannot detect my new 128gb flash drive which i just brought recently. i tried using a smaller capacity UFD of 16gb (fat32) format and it can detected in both my laptop as well as the msi recovery backup tool. it can be detected on my laptop and there is no weird error when i was checking on the device manager. I was trying it with the sandisk 128gb UFD of 150mb/s (exfat) format but it cannot be detected in the msi recovery backup tool. ![]() swm of the OS partition at its factory state, and these files can't create a bootable WinPE/WinRE image, unless install.swm is a WinPE image instead, they're used within WinRE to Reset the OS and apply the images in order. I would like to enquire how to do i do the MSI recovery backup using a universal flash drive. General info: There should be a WinRE partition on the replacement HDD if not, it's improperly configured. Hi, i am using a laptop of GE62 2QF apache pro. ![]()
